Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Autograph (the “App”), a macOS application provided by Mardania LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The App
Autograph is a macOS application that lets you design email signatures and install them into Apple Mail. The App is distributed directly by us (not through the Mac App Store) and is signed and notarized by Apple.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Mac computers you own or control, subject to these Terms and to any device limits associated with your purchase. A one-time purchase of the paid version (“Pro”) unlocks the paid features described on our website and within the App.
You may not:
- copy, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or your license key;
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent or tamper with license verification, usage limits, or security features; or
- use the App to violate any law or the rights of others.
3. Purchases and payment
Payments for the App are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates). When you buy the App, your purchase is a transaction with Paddle, who acts as the seller of record, handles billing, and collects and remits applicable taxes. Paddle’s own terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time; the price that applies to you is the price shown at the time of your purchase.
The paid version is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is not billed on a recurring basis.
4. License keys and device limits
After purchase you receive a license key that activates Pro features. Your license may be used on a limited number of devices as stated at purchase or in the App. Keep your license key private; you are responsible for activity under your license.
5. Updates
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Your one-time purchase includes updates as described on our website at the time of purchase. We are not obligated to provide updates indefinitely, and we may change or discontinue features.
6. Apple Mail and third-party services
The App interacts with Apple Mail and may use third-party infrastructure (for example, image hosting) to deliver its features. We are not responsible for changes to Apple Mail, macOS, or other third-party services that may affect how the App works. The App requires certain macOS permissions (such as access needed to write signature files) to function; you can grant or revoke these in macOS System Settings.
7. Free version
We may offer a free version of the App with limited features. The free version is provided “as is” and we may change or discontinue it at any time.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every email client or configuration.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mardania LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. On termination, you must stop using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including license restrictions, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection law grants you rights that cannot be waived.
